Temple Opening Timings - 6.00AM to 8.30PM


Immerse yourself in the divine ambiance of the Tiruttani Murugan Temple, one of the six abodes of Lord Muruga. Our temple is open from 5:45 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. On special days, we extend our hours from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. to accommodate the influx of devotees. However, please note that the temple may be closed during certain festivals.

1 Viswaroopa Pooja 05:45 AM to 06:00 AM IST A special Arathi is shown to Palliyarai Swamy, followed by Thiruvamuthootal and Moolavar Dheeparathanai.
2 Kalasandhi Pooja 08:00 AM to 09:00 AM IST Rituals like holy bathing and decoration (Tiruvamuthootal) are performed for the idols during this pooja. Devotees are then allowed for darshan.
3 Uchikkala Pooja 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM IST Similar to the Kalasandhi Pooja, holy bathing and decoration rituals are performed, followed by darshan for devotees.
4 Sayaraksha Pooja (Evening) 05:00 PM to 06:00 PM IST This evening pooja also includes holy bathing and decoration rituals, followed by darshan.
5 Ardhajama Pooja 06:00 PM to 06:15 PM IST During this pooja, Tiruvamudhootal and Deeparathanai are performed for the Moolavar.
6 Palliyarai Pooja 08:45 PM to 09:00 PM IST After the Arthajama Pooja, devotees are allowed for Moolavar darshan. The Palliyara Urchavar is then put into palanquin service, and the swing service and pooja rituals are performed.
